BBing squats

For powerlifting I squat with my legs a little farther than shoulder width apart and toes out at 45 degrees. The top of my hip goes below the top of my knees. Is squatting in preparation for a show any different?

It really depends on what is lacking...For instance I point my toes out a bit and conciously try and hit my hams bc I know that is where my muscles are lacking.

For quad thickness I use a closer stance when squatting......when squatting Im solely trying to work my quads and not my hams.

I save my hams for stiff legged dumbell Deads amn leg curls.
