arthoscopic knee surgery and bleeding

I had a piece of the skin like substance removed from my cartilage that tore in my knee and in one of the holes it started bleeding pretty good. I called the Surgen and he said it was ok and normal to bleed like the a bit. Well the bleeding stopped and now from another hole is really starting to bleed quite abit. Total size is about a size of a dollar. Should I let this go or should I call him and maybe get a hot stick on the holes. I have crutches but he said if I could walk on it that would be fine but not to much. What do you suggest. I dont want to go in for them to say well it will stop just give it a little more time.
