Animal Pak

I just got back on these opposed to the generic multi's I was using before. What are your thoughts on them? Are they really worth the money? I got 40 paks for 20 bucks...Or do you think 30 bucks for 180 pills of a good multi vitamin is more beneficial...Vitamins is a subject I don't know much on so any input would be great.

I take prenatal vitamins.

They are packed with everything you'd need to grow , and cheap as fuck. If they'll help grow a healthy baby, they'll help you grow too.

now that is food for thought, i always figured they were more for the woman than the baby. i already have a donated sclera from a woman, i'd hate to start singing "i am woman, hear me roar" :D definitely something to look into though Quasi.

Funny, my wife is getting these free from her doc. I checked the contents, they look good to me. We have more than she'll use so i'll start when I run out of my multi.

I took those Animal Paks years ago. It's like 11 pills right? At one time I was taking so much shit I just quit and evaluated everything. I ended up simplifying and doing away with the Paks.

Hey QUASI, why the folic acid? What is so important for bbers to get a higher dose of Folic Acid? I'm assuming that is the reason you recomended the Prenatals.

Folic Acid is great for keep plaque from building on the walls of arteries and is good to keep cholesterol lower. I supplement with about 3200mcgs per day.

90% of all vitamins sold in this country are made by one (1) company: Hoffman-LaRoche. Centrum is the same as Wallgreen's store brand. Buy the cheapest.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum - I take Centrum Silver (for men over 50, although I'm "only" 34). I read it a few months ago in Men's Health, so I figured I'd give it a try. Had bloodwork and a checkup this month and my bp, cholesterol, triglycerides, etc were better than they have ever been. Then again, the fact that I've been "off" for for several months may have something to do with that also.
