7 Day Out Protocol

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Looks Like This:

2 gallons water Sunday
2.5 gallons water Monday
2.5 gallons water Tuesday
2 gallons water Wednesday
1/2 gallon water cutoff at noon on Thursday

Now the fun begins-Take a whole watermellon and cut it in half. Eat half of the watermellon on Thursday and the other half on Friday. Continue with the Grapefruit juice ed. Remember, not a sip of water just watermellon. On friday night eat a yam before bed. Saturday morning comes and its time to carb up as I normally would with jam, dried prunes, rice cakes, yams, and a little soda right before stagetime.

Meal 1-----5egg white, 2 whole eggs scrambled, 8 oz Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice

Meal 2----- 8 oz Chicken, 8 pieces of asparagus

Meal 3-----6 oz fish

Meal 4-----8 oz Chicken, 8 pieces of asparagus, 8 oz Grapefruit Juice.

Meal 5-----6 oz Fish

Meal 6-----8 oz Chicken, 8 pieces of asparagus, 8 oz Grapefruit Juice.

Meal 7-----2 scoops of casein, tblsp natty PB.


This was something I picked up from a respected bber at my last show and thought I would give it a try...LMK your thoughts.:D

J2M...i believe this is solid......

.the water load sounds like its in check
then the watermelon will be a diaretic
then the carb load fri and sat

but here......
My question is , with the meals.....what day or days are they on? i got lost there
I can't imagine no carbs all week?
Also, i noticed no red meat in the diet.....(not a big deal, just wondering if thats a technicallity)

ahhh, typically I wouldn't take in any carbs up until Thursday but I will be getting natural sugars 3 times a day with the grapefruit juice. So I'm actually taking in carbs that I normally wouldn't. I'm not big on red meat before a show, maybe as your last meal on Friday but I prefer chicken and getting my fats from Natty PB, this week I will eat some fish which will be a change for me.

Oh and I will alter this a bit because the weigh-in for LV is on Friday night so I will cut water earlier than posted, otherwise I may not make my weight. I'll play it by ear on where my weight is.

is this the way the BBer did his precontest for the phillyshow? or an idea to do inbetween shows

can you sub something for the aspargus....that tastes awful
like green beans......

You could but I am mimicking this one guy's protocol. The asparagus is a natural diuretic that is low in cals. It also has glutathione(sp?) which produces prostaglandins that promote muscle growth. It also helps protect the liver. I just did some reading and don't know why I didn't start eating asparagus earlier. I guess becuause it can become pricey along with the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice which can really put a hurtin on the ol wallet! :)

Solid! My only concern is what your currintly running, it makes a fuck of a difference competing in back to back comps! I would also consider minipulating your water doses! Also whats your plans on Diuretics, for the LH?

AnyThing I can do to assist you, Just Ask..OK? You really need to take time off after the LH, and concentrate solely on putting on another lean 8-10lbs!

You really have no choice - your growing and improving in each comp - you have to bring up your Quads,Hams and calves a bit!

You will then cause some damage competing as a Light-Heavy! imo..

Yea i hate aspargus ...i would do green beans...are you running lasix?

Just an FYI...last year I didin't like the watermellon idea...i felt like it wasn't working as a diuretic for me. But I plan on using this again starting a week out.
