Back again and this time for real

Guyz…just checking in with another one of those I am back posts…but this time it is real.😎

Today I almost needed a walker as I was walking to and inside a restaurant as my legs were very sore from hitting them hard again…I really should get on the bike thingy machine for 20 minutes after a leg workout to loosen them up as I look like a 95 year old trying to walk, lol
I had forgotten how wonderful that muscle soreness feels especially the morning after a good workout…and I am not being sarcastic I LOVE that feeling.

I lost around 25 pounds (fat and muscle…got pretty soft talk about pathetic) in the last year or so from a broken hand surgery and a relapse on Kratom…already 15 pounds up in 2 weeks…obviously from a huge uptake in my diet and fluid intake.

Working out is my drug of choice once again and man does it feel amazing. Tomorrow arms and light back workout day looking forward to the pump. :)> I still think of this forum I just say I took a little time off, lol

I also want to say that I try to never put anyone up too high to the point that I strive to be just like them…but after watching all the bad things like Flex Wheeler has been dealing with and he still manages to make it to the gym…really what is my excuse.

Life is much more fun and better as a weight lifter.

Lol...no way bro. I've been trying to get back at it as well. My right shoulder is in bad shape. I was hoping it was tendonitis or bursitis or something that would heal with some rest but it doesn't seem to be the case. I need to get to a doc I suppose.

Your shoulder issue may not be the same case I had…I strained a ligament in my rotator cuff and could not even bench press 135 without extreme pain.

…after a Month and no relief I visited a Doctor and luckily he suggested I try a rehabilitation clinic before considering surgery as I probably did not need it…after 2 Months of Rehabilitation and I came out with both shoulders stronger and healthier than they have ever been.

The rehabilitation was extremely painful as the exercises with the bands (start thin then they get very thick the more you start healing) are painful exercises with an injury…but I swear it worked and zero (knock on wood) shoulder issues since.
I wish you the best and I would at least talk to a real sports Doctor…not some primary who will just say to get on an ibuprofen regime.

I've been doing shoulder work with light weight and high reps....I swear it's feeling better.
Same here…except for dumbbell side raises…I go heavier but do not lift all the way up…man this hits my shoulders hard…somewhat of a partial lift but I love it…then light for everything else…I mean very light doing sets of 15 to 20…it almost looks funny how using the small light dumbbells but I am squeezing very hard the whole time making sure my shoulders are burning the whole time. I get a full pump on my shoulders…also lightweight on seated shoulder press on smith machine with just a slight incline…keep the bar right in front on my chin and squeeze and rep them out.

My shoulders have always kind of lacked compared to my chest but man I’ve been getting full 3D round shoulders…I can’t stop side flexing in the mirror from the pump, lol.

Still at it bro? I took a couple weeks off but it feels good to be back.
yes I am…I strained a ligament on my forearm right below the bicep on the right side…hurts but feels better once I start warming up with curls. I also took a couple of weeks off as well.
I am no stranger to these kinds of injuries…they take Months to heal…but hey I can still lift…I just make sure to really warm up during curls then the pain subsides.

It is slowly getting better. 🙂

I am not stressing over it just being a little cautious…it only bothers me when doing curls and only before I am warmed up.

…kinda personal but these past couple of Months I have been taking care of my Mother who has severe Schizophrenia which has really stressed me out…so I’ve lost some weight but things are getting better with us…I am really looking forward to my arm and chest workout tomorrow.
